RESCUEREHABILITATEREINTERGRATE CHILDREN & YOUTH IN CONFLICT WITH THE LAW
We transform the lives of children and youths in conflict with the law, to transition successfully back into the community
Join us in this journey of transformation
We believe that every child possesses the potential for growth, healing, and transformation. We recognize that children and youth in conflict with the law are not defined by their past actions but by their capacity for change.
The Story Behind Our Movement
Okiri was founded as a flagship program of Soulevement, with a deep sense of purpose and commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and youth in conflict with the law.

What we do
We aim to create an environment where children and youths are supported to be confident and capable members of the community
Visual and Performing Arts
Involving children at the Kisumu remand facility in visual and performing arts to build self-awareness, help them cope with mental trauma and adjust to their social environment.
Digital and Financial Literacy
We equip youths with essential computer and financial literacy skills to boost their employability, and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to thrive in the digital age and attract broader audiences.
Reunification
We strengthen family bonds through workshops, shared skill-building, and goal-setting for better communication. We also offer support youths transitioning to independence or safe environments.
Our Campaign
We are having a crowdfunding campaign on the first step of Project Okiri, Visual Arts.
Project Activities will focus on building self-awareness, helping them cope with the mental challenges and adjust to their social environment. During this stage, they will also have a way of telling their personal stories through performing arts.
